Namely, Federal Reserve Governor Christopher Waller signaled support for keeping interest rates steady if upcoming inflation data remains favorable, helping ease near-term concerns about further monetary tightening. The shift in expectations has also weakened the dollar and boosted risk-sensitive assets, with Bitcoin ( BTC ) reclaiming the $80,000 level and the total cryptocurrency market capitalization adding roughly $135 billion over 24 hours. Despite the strong gains, Ethereum now faces an important technical test around the psychologically crucial $2,500 level.
